Obituary

Sandra M. Katte, 74, passed away surrounded by her loving family on September 18, 2021, at St. Nicholas Hospital.  She was born in Sheboygan on November 9, 1946, to the late Leslie and Caroline (Sheck) Hoelle.  She attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School.  Sandy was employed at the United States Post Office for many years and retired as a Bulk Mail Clerk.  On September 14, 1968, Sandy married Kenneth Katte at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Sheboygan. 

She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family along with the family trips to Florida.  She also enjoyed Cranberry Festival and going on other day trips with her friends.

Along with her husband Kenneth, Sandy is survived by her children, Kristin (Michael) Mersberger and Ryan (Heidi) Katte; grandchildren, Aaron Gorman, Emily and Bryce Mersberger, Jocelyn, Ainsley, and Madeline Katte; special family member Beeanne Phung and other family and friends.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents and extended family.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Sandy will take place on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 1:15PM at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 822 New Jersey Ave. in Sheboygan with Fr. Patrick Burns officiating.  The family will greet visitors, at CHURCH on Thursday, from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass.  Sandy will be laid to rest at Greendale Cemetery in Sheboygan.

A memorial fund has been established in Sandy's name.

The family would like to thank the many providers that cared for Sandy over the years.
