Randall "Randy" Harrison

June 8, 1956 — June 27, 2022

Sheboygan

Randall J. Harrison, age 66, of Sheboygan passed away on June 27, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Plymouth on June 8, 1956, to the late Chester and Marvel (Klug) Harrison.  He attended the Opportunity Center and James Madison Elementary School.  Randy worked at RCS Empowers for over 40 years.

Randy enjoyed bowling with his RCS team, he was in the Special Olympics, participating in bowling, soccer, softball and was lucky enough to go to nationals one year for track.  He was a lifelong member of the Elks Lodge #299 where he made many friends and experienced so much kindness.  Randy was also a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.

Randy was an amazing person whose friendly personality and welcoming smile made people feel comfortable and at ease to be around.  He was gentle, funny and a bit of a flirt.  He loved to dance, he loved Elvis and all of the 70’s sit coms.  He loved WWE; especially John Cena.  Randy enjoyed many years of vacations to Hawaii with his parents and family members.  He soon became a favorite at White Sands Resort, winning endless games of checkers with all the new friends he made there.

Randy was an incredible man who lived a full life and was so lucky to have parents and family who gave him endless experiences.  Most importantly he was loved and has a special place in everyone’s heart who knew him.

He is survived by a brother Steve (Joann) Harrison; a sister Roxanne (Kevin) Pauls; a brother-in-law Dan Olson; nieces and nephews, Christopher (Huimin) Harrison, Timothy (Beth) Harrison, Jamie (Kyle) Gassner, Lindsay (Andrew) Eirich, Steven (Courtney) Pauls, Katie (Craig) Schauer, Krista (Brian) Herman and Thomas (Alyse) Olson; many great-nieces and nephews, along with other family and friends.

Along with his parents and grandparents Randy was preceded in death by a sister, Robin Olson.

A Memorial Service for Randy will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 1, 2022, at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 2133 N 22nd St. in Sheboygan.  Family will greet visitors at church on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of mass.  Randy will be laid to rest next to his parents at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  For those who would like to watch Randy’s service virtually, can do so on his obituary page on www.zimmerfuneralhome.com
