Obituary

Marian Warner, age 74, of Howards Grove passed away on November 2, 2021, surrounded by the ones she loved.

She was born on December 12, 1946, in Sheboygan, to the late Herbert and Hazel (Arpke) Wickesberg.  She attended Franklin grade school and graduated from Howards Grove High School in 1965.  On January 25, 1969, Marian married Peter Warner at Immanuel United Church of Christ.  Marian was a faithful member of the church and taught Sunday School and sang in the choir.  She was a bank teller for many years at State Bank of Howards Grove.

In her younger years, she was an athlete and played many sports.  Marian was a kindhearted soul who took care of anyone who walked through her door and was the neighborhood mom who would make sure nobody left hungry.  She also enjoyed cooking and entertaining, traveling, listening to music and had a great love for dogs.  She was an amazing person and will be missed so deeply.

Ones she has left behind are her husband of 52 years, Peter; children, Jill (Jeremy) Wiegand, Tricia (Donald Krier) Warner and Chris (Brenda Given) Warner; grandchildren, Avery Wiegand and Matthew and Lukas Krier; a sister Jane Coombs; sisters-in-law, Karen and Helen Wickesberg; nieces, nephews, other family and friends further survive.

Along with her parents, Marian was preceded in death by brothers, Mark and Chuck Wickesberg; her father and mother-in-law William and Dorothy Warner and a brother-in-law Rev. Raymond Coombs
