Virginia M. Strakalaitis

Virginia (Ginger) Strakalaitis, 90, of Sheboygan, passed away Monday June 8, 2026 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Virginia was born August 02, 1935 in Chicago, IL and was raised with love by the Labeau family. On August 22, 1959, she married David Strakalaitis and they raised a family together in Cincinnati and Sheboygan during their 53 years of marriage. Virginia worked in her early years then became a stay at home mother to care for her children. She loved to take walks on the boardwalk, quilt, dance, listen to jazz music and quiet time with her family.

Virginia is survived by her four children, Gregory (Nancy), Jeffrey (Judy), Christopher (Lydia); and Jennifer (Tom) Albanese, her ten grandchildren. Tara (Matt) Crews, Erin, and Mason Strakalaitis, William (Remy) and Aldora Strakalaitis, Timothy and Clinton (Michelle) Kreuziger, Savanna Nelson, Madeline and Katie Albanese; and five great grandchildren, Jackson Crews and Violet, Hawthorne, Iris, and Lavender Kreuziger.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, and her husband.

In accordance with her wishes, no service will be held. There will be a private life celebration.

Virginia cherished her many friends and was a loving and generous mother and grandmother, She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Sharon Richardson Community Hospice. We are thankful for their care and compassion.
