Thomas "Tom" Fihn

Thomas “Tom” G. Fihn of Kiel, age 81, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022, surrounded by his family and friends at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

He was born in Milwaukee on September 15, 1940, to the late Frank and Katherine (Barylski) Fihn.  He graduated from Rufus King High School in 1958.  Tom proudly served in the Army Reserves.  On October 1, 1966, he married Judith “Judy” Manke in Pewaukee.  Over the years, he has been a successful business owner within various industries.

Tom’s most beloved pastime was playing golf.  He also enjoyed gunsmithing, fishing, being outdoors and cooking.  Above all, Tom loved spending time with his family and friends.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Judy; a son, Matt Fihn; a daughter, Catie (Matty) Fihn; grandchildren, Hunter, Rachel, Aaron, Julian and Ember; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Along with his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Geraty.

A Celebration of Life for Tom will be held from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd in Howards Grove.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tom’s name can be made to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
