Terrence Strysick

Terrence Robert Strysick passed away at Sharon S Richardson Hospice Sheboygan Falls on 12:12 PM on July 24th 2016 at the age of 76. Terrence was born in Plymouth, WI on September 19th, 1939. He graduated from Goose Air Base High School Goose Bay, Labrador 1957. Terrence served in the Air Force and Reserve and received an honorable discharge in 1962. Terry was the proud owner and operator of Our Place Tavern in Franklin until his health wouldn't allow him to continue. His tavern was the local gathering place for small town Franklin, where people would stop for a drink and stay for the friendship. Terry wasn't a man of many words but he was always there to listen to a friend. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events, gardening, collecting coins and canning.
Terrence is lovingly remembered by his mother Shirley Strysick of Hustisford, four children Claudette Barutha of Plymouth, Charmaine Strysick of Sheboygan Falls, Kendall Strysick (Jacqueline) of Costa Rica and Bradley Strysick of Sheboygan. Seven grandchildren Devin Barutha, Aliana Patino, Dylan Barutha, Ethan Barutha, Aiden Richardson, Mia Strysick and Isabella Strysick. Siblings Barb (Jim) Szopinski Margaret Yoakum, Mary Strysick, David (Carol) Strysick. Twelve nieces and nephews Jerry (Tammy) Strysick, Carla Strysick, Valerie Strysick, Christopher Yoahum, Sherri (Ezra) Spitzer, Jenny Mckitrick, Paula (Christoph) Walters, Ben (Purity) Strysick, James (Nancy) Szopinski, Mike (Lisa) Szopinski, Paul (Pam) Szopinski, and Chris (Pete) Puleo. He is also survived by his beloved girlfriend of 27 years, Betty Hutchinson.
Terrence R. Strysick is predeceased by his father, Gerald Strysick, his mother, Rose Strysick and his brother, Jim Strysick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church, (522 New York, Sheboygan) with the Rev. Matthew Widder as celebrant. Friends may call on Thursday at Zimmer's Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove) from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, at the church, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
