Shaun E. Guenther

Shaun E. Guenther, age 45, of Sheboygan passed away surrounded by his family on December 5, 2023, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

He was born on April 25, 1978, in Sheboygan to Lee Guenther and Janice Gorter. Shaun graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1996 and then received his associates degree in marketing.

Shaun liked to travel and make many memories with his family and many friends.

He loved his nieces and nephews. Shaun was very caring, carefree, generous, and brave. In Shaun’s own words “I love my life, I have a great life, I have no worries, and wish everyone could be as strong as I am”.

Shaun is survived by his father, Lee (Ellen) Guenther; mother, Janice (Jimmy) Gorter; siblings, Brett Guenther, Nicole Guenther and David (Jess) Tenpas; aunts and uncles, Jan Guenther, Faye Guenther, Dave (LuAnn) Immel, Dennis (Linda) Immel, Daniel (Yvonne) Immel, Cindy Immel, Ronald Beeck, Mary (Ski) Kuczynski, Donna King, Butch (Diane) Stolzman, Billy (Nancy) Stolzman, Jeannine Halverson and Larry Halverson; nieces and nephews, Dacari Guenther, Kalen Guenther, Caleb (Kaitlin) Tenpas and their son Parker, Seth (Hope Landgraf) Tenpas, Hannah Tenpas, and Nora Tenpas; other family and friends further survive.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Luke Tenpas; uncles Frank King and Dick Halverson; aunts, Loretta Guenther and Jeanne Beeck.

A Memorial Service for Shaun will take place at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd in Howards Grove, with Pastor Rob Schrader officiating. Family will greet visitors on Saturday, from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Shaun will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Shaun's name.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at both Vince Lombardi Cancer Center and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the amazing care given to Shaun.
