Scott Thomas
Siekman
Jan 9, 1950 — Aug 20, 2026
Sheboygan
Scott Thomas Siekman, age 76, passed away at his home in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on Thursday, August 20, 2026. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 9, 1950 to the late Ralph and Arlene (Thomas) Siekman. He grew up in the Cleveland area, spending his summers as a child playing baseball, cultivating vegetables in a garden, and picking berries for his mother to make into jam and delicious pies (although he preferred blackberries to raspberries because they had fewer thorns.) He was a member of his high school's varsity basketball team. Following high school, Scott attended Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania via a National Merit Scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
Scott was strong in his faith, and was a long-time member of the St. Marks United Church of Christ in Cleveland, Wisconsin. Fiercely independent, Scott loved to read, especially about history. He was thoughtful and reflective, and always tried to see the best in people. He was a hard worker all his life and worked for many years as a salesman for the Anter Brothers Company in Cleveland. In his free time, Scott loved watching his favorite basketball teams play, including the Indiana Pacers and the Cleveland Cavaliers. His family remembers that Scott knew all the players and stats, and enjoyed talking sports to anyone who would listen. He was also an avid outdoorsman. He loved to spend time walking around Sheboygan's many greenspaces, surrounded by nature and watching the waves on Lake Michigan. Scott will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Scott is survived by his sister Jean (Michel) Venot, and his niece Aimee (Mick Johnson) Venot. He is further survived by many cousins and friends.
Scott is preceded in death by his parents.
Per Scott's wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
