Russell D. Dean

Russell D. Dean, age 85, of Sheboygan, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

He was born in Marathon, WI on July 2, 1938, to the late Arthur and Olive (Milgreen) Dean. On June 15, 1963, Russell was united in marriage to Nancy Morrill. He was employed at Kohler Company for over 38 years.

Russell enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and making many memories on their property up north. You could always find him outside tinkering with something in the garage or yard. He had a quick wit and could make you laugh, even in his final days. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He had a generous heart and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Russell is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy; children, Terry (Laura) Dean, Debera (Paul) Bulitz, Stacy (Lisa) Dean and Keith (Bobbi) Dean; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and his brother, Roger (Rachel) Dean; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by his siblings, Wilbur, Donnie, Doug, Bruce, Mildred, Jannice, and Merna.

A Memorial Service for Russell will take place at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Zimmer Westview, W2132 Garton Road in Howards Grove with Pastor Guy Marshall officiating. Family will greet visitors on Friday at the funeral home from NOON until the time of the service. Russell will be laid to rest at the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum in Kohler.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
