Robert Kretschmann

Robert W. Kretschmann age 78, went home to the Lord, Sunday, April 24, 2016. He was born on August 12, 1937 to parents Anthony and Marie (Clever) Kretschmann. Robert was united in marriage on May 2, 1959 to Janice Mervar. Bob worked at the Kohler Co. for 36 years until his retirement in 1999.



Bob enjoyed the outdoors, tending to his garden and apple trees. He looked forward to trips with Jan to Las Vegas and bus trips up north. Bob was an avid watcher of the Packers and Brewers. He enjoyed his time with family, especially his grandchildren.



Bob is survived by his wife Jan; three daughters, Lisa Krueger, Lori (significant other Scott Miller) Martin and Dawn (Jim) Jaroch; three grandchildren, Ashley Krueger, Taylor Poisson and Jimmy Jaroch; one sister, Theresa (Bill) Dzwonkowski; one sister-in-law, Kathy Mervar; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Hildegard Kretschmann; one brother, Richard (Karen) Kretschmann and one brother-in-law, John Mervar.



Memorial Service will be held at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Road, (Hwy 42 JJ) on Friday, April 29, at 6:00 PM. A time of visitation and support will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of the service. The family would like to thank the ICU and the 4th Floor nurses at St. Nicholas Hospital.
