Robert "Bob" A. Kammerzelt, age 78, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Sheboygan Senior Community.
Robert was born in Sheboygan on April 3, 1940 to Arthur and Laura (Goldapske) Kammerzelt. He attended local schools and graduated from Central High School. Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1958 until 1962. On June 29, 1963 Robert was united in marriage to Patricia (Hacker) at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Robert was a dedicated employee at Kohler Company for over 40 years, rarely missing a days work thus instilling a great work ethic in all three of his children. He retired from Kohler Company in 2003.
Bob was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing on the "Big Pond", and golfing. Many memories were made during deer hunting trips up north with sons, grandsons, and close hunting buddies. He also found enjoyment in the game of cribbage, teaching each of his children and grandchildren the game. Anyone who knew Bob could understand and appreciate his unique sense of humor. Spending time with his family was one of the most valuable things to Bob. The memories made with him will always be treasured and never be forgotten. He was one of a kind and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia; three children, Scott (Shelly) Kammerzelt, Kelly (Warren) Roelse and Cory (Kris) Kammerzelt; mother Laura Kammerzelt; grandchildren, Hillary, Haley, and Ramsey Kammerzelt, Hope (fiancé Derick Hagenow), Gabrielle, and Gavin Roelse, Cody and Dalton Kammerzelt; three great grandchildren, Payton, Ryin, and Leighton Hagenow; two brothers, James (Diane) Kammerzelt and Gerald (Linda) Kammerzelt; sister Sharyn (Bill) Mondloch; mother-in-law Florence Dillman and brothers-in-law; Lance (Sharon) Hacker, Lee (Joyce) Hacker, and Michael (Brenda) Dillman.
