Richard Spira

Richard "Rick" R. Spira, 57, of Milwaukee, passed away, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Rick was born September 16, 1958, in Sheboygan, to Romaine Spira and the late Shirley (Fischer) Spira. He attended school at Cooper Elementary, Urban Middle School and Sheboygan North High School. During this time, he worked for his father at Schmidler's Pharmacy. Afterwards, he travelled around the United States before settling in Phoenix, AZ for several years. After leaving Arizona, he settled in Milwaukee, where he worked for several years at Mahler Enterprise. Rick enjoyed vacationing along ocean beaches, camping and water sports.
In addition to his father, he is survived by two sisters, Barbara (Bruce) Pierotti and Terry (Ron) Anderson; one brother, Randy Spira; six nieces and nephews, Dennis Fischer, Shannon Larson, Marcia (Mike) Fischer, Peter (Lena) Pierotti, Jeff Pierotti (special friend, Ashley) and Kurt (Nicki) Pierotti; five great-nieces and nephews, Madison, Gavin and Anya Pierotti and Nathan and Elizabeth Fischer; one brother-in-law, Keith Larson.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Corrine Larson.
In accordance with Rick's wishes, no services will be held.
