Richard "Reno" A. Ninnemann

Richard “Reno” A. Ninnemann, 79, of Howards Grove, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 28, 2025.

Richard was born on July 13, 1946, to the late Robert and Lydia (Suemnicht) Ninnemann. He graduated from Plymouth High School, Class of 1964. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War era.

On September 1, 1982, Richard was united in marriage to Diane Richter. He worked at Kohler Co. for 40 years before retiring in 2008. Richard enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, reading, walking his granddogs and traveling.

Richard was intelligent and caring and could spark a conversation with anyone. He was always there to lend a helping hand.

Richard is survived by his wife, Diane Ninnemann; son, David Nennig; two brothers, Robert Ninnemann and Peter (Sharon) Ninnemann; sister, Kay (Richard) Kulow; brother-in-law, Carl (friend Mary) Richter; sisters-in-law, Beth Richter and JoAnn Harms; nephews, Mike Ninnemann, Chris (Rachel) Kulow and Nick (Lindsay) Kulow; nieces, Janel (Gregg) Retzlaff and Kari (Joel) Pagel; and granddogs, Maya, Missy and Sadie; as well as several other nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Lydia Ninnemann; sister-in-law Karen Ninnemann; in-laws, Carl and Edna Richter, Joyce Richter, Clarence (Elvira) Richter, Wallace Richter and John Harms.

A funeral service for Richard will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd., Sheboygan, WI. The service will also be available via livestream on the funeral home’s website. Immediately following the service, entombment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Kohler, with military honors. The family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
