Obituary

Patricia M. Traas, age 72, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 7, 2026.

Patti was born in Sheboygan on June 19, 1954, to the late Roman and Corrine (Morken) Pittner. She graduated from Sheboygan North High School. On April 25, 1975, Patti was united in marriage to Peter Traas at St. Dominic Catholic Church, where she was a current faithful member. Patti was employed at Superior Discount Liquor as their bookkeeper for over 40 years, retiring in 2019. Patti volunteered for Meals on Wheels for many years. She enjoyed spending time with friends at the YMCA, the Book Club, and being apart of the bowling league at North Bowl.

Patti loved traveling and watching Wisconsin sports. Above all, family was everything to Patti and all looked forward to her annual Christmas letter as that was her favorite holiday. She took pride in watching any of her grandchildren’s sporting events or performances. Time spent with Peter, her two boys and their families was Patti’s, “little slice of heaven,” She had a warm, genuine soul and was known to put everyone first. Patti will be deeply missed by so many.

Along with her loving husband over 51 years, Patti is survived by her sons, Jason (Jennifer) Traas and Bradley (Jennifer) Traas; grandchildren, Emilee, Ryan, Reed, Brynn and Jase; siblings, Jeffrey (Barb) Pittner, Steven (Colleen) Pittner, Philip (Holly) Pittner, Paul (Sue) Pittner and MaryBeth (Timothy) Felsinger; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
