Melanie A. Kammann

Cleveland, Melanie A. Kammann passed away on October 1, 2025. Melanie was born July 5, 1944 to Harlan and Evelyn {Hendershot} Grosshuesch. Melanie graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1963 and completed Medical Assistant School in 1964. She married Paul Kammann in 1966. Melanie worked as a CNA at several Health Care Facilities in the area. She also helped on the family farm. She loved her flower beds and decorating the home for all the holidays. Melanie loved to go for a ride in one of her Classic Cars, especially one of the convertibles.

Melanie is survived by her husband, Paul, son Steven, sisters Gail Green, Carol {Neil} Schwarz, Ellen {Ken} Hagenow, Jan Goedeke, and brother Mark Grosshuesch. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Lorie Anne, brother Joe, sister and brother-in-law Jill and Jan Reinl, brother-in-law Bill Green, brother-in-law Earl Goedeke, sister-in-law Connie Grosshuesch.

According to her wishes there will only be a committal service for family and friends on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. that will take place at St. John’s UCC Schwarzwald Cemetery, W3401 Orchard Road, Elkhart Lake, WI 53020.
