Mary C. Stueber

Mary Stueber, age 98, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Mary was born on July 19, 1927 to the late Joseph and Mary (Tratar) Germ in Sheboygan. She graduated from Central High School.

On September 24, 1949 she was united in marriage to William Stueber at SS Cyril & Methodius church. He preceded her in death on October 13, 1992.

Mary was employed at several nursing homes in Sheboygan and Port Washington. She was a member of KSKJ, SUA (Slovenian Union of America) Branch 1, and Red Hats.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved by those who survive her including 3 children, Susan Stadtmueller of Sheboygan, Peter (Laurie) Stueber of Wautoma, and Jolenne (Jim) Klunck of Sheboygan. 8 Grandchildren, Amy (Ben) Strong of York, SC, Lesley Hernandez of Howards Grove, Stephanie (JJ) Stuedel of Appleton, Joel Stadtmueller of Seattle, WA, Kevin (Erin) Stueber, Menominee Falls, Travis (Isabel) Stueber of San Antonio, TX, Jared (Ashley) Stueber of Woody Creek, CO, Jocelyn (Andy Dehne) Yonan of Elkhart Lake, Trevor Yonan of Sheboygan. 3 Step-grandchildren Lori, Angie, & Jamie. 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren. One sister-in-law Ruth Neisius.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Sean Yonan, brother and sister-in-law Joe and Charlotte Germ, and 3 sisters-in-law.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 2:00pm at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 822 New Jersey Avenue, Sheboygan with Fr. Paul Fliss officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church on Thursday from 12:30pm until the time of service. Interment will take place at Greendale Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in her name. Our family would like to extend a heartful thank you to the staff of Aurora home hospice, especially the wonderful care and friendship given to our mom by Amber, Amy, Hannah, and Jess.
