Mary L. Radke, age 96, of Sheboygan passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
She was born in Sheboygan on January 5, 1930, to the late Peter and Pauline (Trester) Fields. She graduated from Central High School. On March, 28, 1951, Mary was united in marriage to Ralph Radke. Ralph preceded her in death on November 27, 2016. Mary was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church and was a part of the Catholic Women’s Charity Club.
Mary worked at JC Penny, the Sheboygan YMCA and Park N’ Shop. Her greatest passion was being an acrobat within the Lang Troop and the Turners Tumbling troop. At the age of 13, she started traveling with the circus throughout the U.S., performing the flying teterboard act, amongst others. She enjoyed this for over 20 years. After retiring from traveling, Mary and Ralph helped manage Turner Hall Restaurant and Bar on 8th street in Sheboygan. Other passions included, traveling, camping, sewing and cooking. Above all, family meant the most to her and she will be deeply missed.
Mary is survived by her grandchildren, Randie (Adam) Boyd and Nicholas (Melissa) Baalke, both of Sheboygan; a sister-in-law, Pat Fields and daughter-in-love, Susan Weiss; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Along with her husband, Ralph, and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Radke and brothers, Thomas and Roger Fields.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will take place on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 2133 N 22nd St. in Sheboygan. Family will greet visitors on Tuesday, at the church, from 12:00 PM until the time of the mass. Mary will be entombed next to Ralph at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mary’s name.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the excellent care and compassion shown to Mary.
