Marie Klokow

Marie H. Klokow, 87, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. She was born March 25, 1929 in Sheboygan to John and Anna (Waechel) Sauer. Marie graduated from Central High School. On September 13, 1958, she was united in marriage to Frederick Klokow at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
Marie worked for Mayline in the wood plant. She was a member of St. John's UCC Schwarzwald, and served on the Women's Guild. Family was very important to her, she enjoyed spending time on family fishing trips, cheering both her children and grandchildren on during their sporting events. She also worked the concession stands for the Howards Grove Athletic Club. Marie also enjoyed canning and gardening.
Marie is survived by her husband Frederick, children; Kathy (Joel) Aulik, Steve (Yolanda Sanchez) Klokow, and Gary (Sue) Klokow, grandchildren; Erica Aulik, Nicole (Tom Vercauteren) Aulik, Joel Brandon Aulik, Zachary Klokow, and Julianne Klokow, great-grandchildren; Desiree, Maisie, Tessa, and Fiona. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Melvin and George Sauer and her sister Anne (Lester) Holtz.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. John's UCC Schwarzwald, W3401 Orchard Rd. Elkhart Lake, with Pastor Melinda Feller officiating. Burial will take place at St. John's UCC Schwarzwald Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the CHURCH.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John's UCC Schwarzwald in Marie's name.
