Margaret Ehlers

Margaret M Ehlers, 96, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Friday, November 27th at Pine Haven Christian Home. She was born March 17th, 1924 in Emmet Wisconsin to the late Joseph and Margaret (Kelly) Moriarty.
Margaret was united in marriage to Elmer H Ehlers Jr on June 14th, 1945. They raised two children, Gerald and Barbara, in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Margaret later moved to Milwaukee after Elmer's death to pursue her career at American Family Insurance where she worked until her retirement. While living in Milwaukee, Margaret enjoyed volunteering, especially at Luther Manor, Red Cross, and the local Catholic hospital. She had a passion for learning and continued taking adult learning classes after retirement. She was also an avid reader, easily reading 10 books a week - it was truly her passion.
Margaret is survived by her son Gerald (Joan) Ehlers, five grandchildren; Ronald (Traci) Ehlers, Peter (Abby) Ehlers, Kathryn (Bill) Ryan, Christine (Jeff) Zimmerman and Jarrod (Ashley) Fenner, by three great grandchildren; Annaka, Armando and Fernando Ehlers, and by her son-in-law Bob Fenner.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, daughter Barbara Fenner and daughter-in-law Mary Ehlers.

Private family services will be held at this time for Margaret, with a celebration of her life being held at a later date.
