Mackenzie Roelse

February 2, 1994 — July 20, 2016

Mackenzie Patricia Roelse, "Kenzie," "Ken" age 22 of Sheboygan passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Chassell Township, Michigan.

Mackenzie was born on February 2, 1994 in Sheboygan, WI to Warren J. and Kelly R. (Kammerzelt) Roelse. She graduated Howard's Grove High School in 2012 and went on to study at UW-Green Bay and UW- Sheboygan. She currently worked for Bio-Life and also bartended at "Big Daddy's Bar & Grill."

Mackenzie lived life to the fullest and found the beautiful side to everything and everyone. She truly loved her family and friends and when she loved, she jumped in with both feet. Her passion for life showed in everything she did. She had a great love for horses and nature; she enjoyed camping, traveling and riding her motorcycle with friends. She also enjoyed playing volleyball, singing (with her beautiful voice), shopping and getting dressed up, listening to country music and going to country concerts, going to stock car races, watching scary movies and was a movie buff. Mackenzie had many amazing artistic abilities and was very creative in cooking, decorating, drawings, paintings, and writing poems. She was as bubbly as they come and she could turn a frown upside down by just walking into a room. We will all dearly miss this beautiful person.

Mackenzie is survived by her loving parents, Warren and Kelly Roelse of Sheboygan; cherished siblings, Hope (Derick Hagenow) Roelse of Mishicot, Gabrielle (Chris White) Roelse of West Bend, and Gavin Roelse of Sheboygan; adored nieces, Payton, Ryin, and expecting baby Leighton Hagenow; loving grandparents, Robert and Patricia Kammerzelt and Edwin Roelse; loving great-grandmothers, Florence Dillman and Laura Kammerzelt; and her treasured dogs, Chevy "Baby Girl", Jake, and Bella. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other loved relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Carol and Joseph Cvetan and great-grandfathers, Charles Dillman and Arthur Kammerzelt.

Funeral Services for Mackenzie will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 7:00p.m. at St Paul's Lutheran Church (730 County Road PPP Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085) with Pastor Tom Gudmundson officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Monday from 3:00-6:45 p.m.
Interment in Lutheran Cemetery, Sheboygan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Mackenzie's family are greatly appreciated and will be used to benefit a charity that cares for her love of horses. A Go Fund Me account has been established in her name.
