Karen K. Hendricks

Karen K. Hendricks, age 79, of Sheboygan passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026. 

She was born on December 13, 1946, in Sheboygan, to the late Walter and Theresa (Tauscheck) Kummer. She graduated from Kohler High School in 1965. On June 24, 1967, Karen was united in marriage to Pat Hendricks. Karen was a member of Grace UCC in Kohler. She was employed at Aramark Services for over 24 years, where she made many lifelong friends.

Karen loved crafting, with painting being her specialty, playing cards, going to the casino, watching the Milwaukee Brewers, and caring for her kitties. Above all, she loved being a mother and spending time with her loved ones.

Karen is survived by her son, Scott (Ronda) Hendricks; a sister, Corliss Kummer; sister-in-law, Judy Kummer; nephews, Bret and Rob Kummer; special cousin, Carl (Zip) and Sandie Tauscheck and her many friends from school, Barb, Carol, Karen, Jess, and Roseann.

Along with her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her brother Robert Kummer and a nephew Kurt Kummer.

A Memorial Service for Karen will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd in Howards Grove with Rev. Beth Petzke officiating. Family will greet visitors on Saturday, at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Memorial donations can be made in Karen's name to the Sheboygan County Humane Society.
