Janice I. Johnson

Janice I. Johnson, age 81, of Saint Nazianz, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025.

She was born in Woodstock, IL, on January 18, 1944, to the late Warren and Ruth (Meehan) Williams. On November 27, 1965, Jan was joined in marriage to Daniel Johnson at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Cascade. She began her nursing career at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan and retired from Rocky Knoll.

Jan enjoyed gardening, fishing and vacationing on the Mississippi River, word puzzles, watching and feeding the birds and cooking.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel; sons, Jeffery (Liz Donnelly) Johnson, David (Tricia) Johnson, and James Johnson; grandchildren, Seth Johnson, Shea Johnson, and Gus Johnson and a sister, Margaret (Chris) Kerry.

Along with her parents, Jan was preceded in death by a brother, Larry (Pam) Williams.

Following Jan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place at a later date.

Memorial donations can be made in Janice's name to Rocky Knoll Health Care Center.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Nicholas Hospital, Rocky Knoll Health Care Center and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the care given to Jan.
