James Alan Wilbert, age 69, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, December 12, 2025. He was born October 22, 1956, in Sheboygan to the late Robert and Doris (Maurer) Wilbert. He was a 1974 graduate of Sheboygan South High School. Following graduation, he married the love of his life, Pam, and together they raised three children: Addison, Nicholas, and Tiffany.
Jim’s greatest joy was the people he loved. He had a gift for making others feel welcome, greeting them with a warm smile and a big hug that showed how much they mattered to him. Family and friendships were at the center of his life. He and Pam shared 42 years of marriage and built a home filled with love and laughter, and he treasured time spent with his children and grandchildren.
Jim worked for many years as a financial advisor at Riesterer Financial, where his career was a natural extension of his love for people. He built relationships grounded in trust, kindness, and genuine care, and many of his clients became like friends and extended family. Helping others plan for their futures and supporting them through life’s changes brought him great fulfillment.
Jim enjoyed snowmobiling and motorcycling, especially for the friendships those hobbies brought into his life. For him, it was never about the ride—it was about sharing the experience with people who meant the most to him. These passions became a special bond he shared with his two sons, who grew to cherish the same hobbies and the friendships that came with them.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the employees at the Chilton Walmart, the Chilton Police Department, and the Calumet County First Responder Team that assisted Jim and his family. Their warmth and compassion will not be forgotten.
Jim is survived by his wife Pam and his children, Addison (Ashley Kipp) Wilbert, Nicholas (Kelly) Wilbert, and Tiffany (Michael) Wieser. He is further survived by his grandchildren: Finley and Eleanor Wieser, Quinn and Leila Wilbert, and Jaydn Kipp; and his brothers Gary (Susan) Wilbert and Tom Wilbert.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
