James J. Thill, age 60, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, January 5, 2026.
He was born on March 4, 1965 in Menominee, MI, to the late Duane and Marjorie (Houde) Thill. Jim graduated from Marinette Catholic Central in 1983. He then earned his Bachelors in Quantitative Economics from UW Oshkosh. Jim was a proud business owner, operating the Falls Smoke Shop for more than 25 years.
Jim was best known for his love of sports, holding the Minnesota Vikings near to his heart. He also was a fan of the Bucks, Badgers, and Brewers, attending many games. During his downtime he enjoyed taking many trips to the casino with his friends and hunting trips with his brothers. Jim had a wonderful sense of humor and was a loyal person who found peace in the friendships he made over the years. He would often say that his greatest joy was raising his two beautiful children. Above all, he was a kind hearted soul who loved deeply and will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Jess (Taylor Zastrow); siblings, Greg (Dyane) Thill, Mary (David) Carlton, Chris (Linda) Thill and Matt (Shawn) Thill; as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Along with his parents, Jim was united in heaven with his beloved son, Jacob Thill whom he has missed deeply and his brother, Michael Thill.
