James "Jim" H. Resop

James “Jim” H. Resop, 78, passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2023 next to his beloved wife. Born on December 6, 1944 to the late Carl and Bette (Doty) Resop in Berlin, Wisconsin. Jim later moved to Sheboygan Falls. Jim married Kay Verhulst on May 1, 1971. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Jim is survived by his wife; brother Carl (Anke) Resop; sisters, Mary “Judy” Gwinn, Janet Pennings and Julie Boedecker; sister-in-law Beverly Resop; step-sister Linda Bricko; step-sisters-in-law Ellen Boerger and Marilee Boerger; and lots of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, step-dad Walter Boerger, brother Richard Resop; brother-in-law Tom Gwinn; step brothers, Phil Boerger and Jack Boerger; nieces, Jessica Lehrke and Lisa Pennings and nephews Joshua Boerger and Christopher Pennings.

The family would like to thank the staff at Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic, especially Dr. Nick and Sharon Richardson Community Hospice.
