Helen Fuchs

Helen D. Fuchs passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. She was 94 years old.

Helen was born July 8, 1925 in Kaukauna, the daughter of John and Mary (nee Haas) Euhl. She attended school in Sheboygan, graduating from Central High School in 1943. On June 4, 1949, she was united in marriage to William Fuchs at St. Clement Catholic Church in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death in 2003. Helen worked for Kohler Company, the phone company and later retired from Leverenz Shoe Company.

Helen was a life-long member of St. Clement Catholic Church. An avid Milwaukee Brewer fan, she enjoyed trips to the casino, game shows, cooking, sewing, playing bingo, and attending activities (especially the Elvis impersonator) at Terrace Place, her home of the last 3 years. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family.

Helen is survived by her daughters: Pat Weinknecht of De Pere, Sue Worthman of Howards Grove and Sandy Diener of Greenfield. She is further survived by her grandchildren: David Weinknecht, Kristine (Brad) Bouchonville, Lisa Worthman (Aaron), Jen (Tyler) Lee, Michael Diener and Jason Diener; great-grandchildren: Hailey, Abby, Logan and Hannah; brother-in-law Frank Cvetan of Sheboygan; former son-in-law Ed Worthman, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband William and siblings: Robert Euhl, Lawrence Euhl, Alice Weissenborn, Lillian Small, Rosemary (Harley) Heus and Carol Cvetan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30PM on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 818 Huron Ave. in Sheboygan. Father Norberto Sandoval will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 11:30AM-1:30PM. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Sheboygan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Clement Catholic Church.
