Harvey Themar Jr.

Harvey A. Themar Jr., 80, of Sheboygan, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. He was born on April 28, 1935 in Sheboygan to Harvey Themar Sr. and Wilma (Mueller) Themar. Harvey graduated from Central High School. On June 29, 1957 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Meredith Mae Maercklein at Zion Reformed Church. She preceded him in death on May 28, 2013. Harvey worked for Piggly Wiggly for over 40 years. He was an avid Packer fan, loved to play canasta, go fishing, take rides around the neighborhood and give treats to all the neighborhood dogs. He enjoyed having a beer with family and friends, and most of all spending time playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his children; Tim Themar and Tammy (Boyfriend Randy Kirsch)Themar, by his grandchildren; Christopher (Tanya) Whitman, Tanya (Joe) Weisfeld, Todd (Jenny) Themar, Kristy (Brenton) Rabe, Kayla Schuh, Taylor and Tyler Themar, by five great-grandchildren, and his sister Delores Neuwirth. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Meredith, and sisters Jeanette Grunke and Betty Ubbelohde.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Zimmer Westview Funeral Home W2132 Garton Rd. Sheboygan, with Robert Ubbelohde officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Sunday March 13, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the FUNERAL HOME.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to ARCS in Harveys name.
