Franklin D. Cvetan, 89, of Sheboygan, passed away on September 20, 2023 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. He was born on May 11, 1934 to the late Anton and Clarissa (Beaver) Cvetan. Frank graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1953.
Frank was united in marriage to Carol Mae Euhl on July 14, 1956 at St. Clements Church, she preceded him in death on February 16, 2008. Frank was an usher and member of St. Clements Church. Frank was semi-truck driver for most of his adult life, the majority with Piggly Wiggly/Schultz Sav-O Stores. After retirement, Frank enjoyed working at Black Wolf Run for 23 years.
He was drafted into the U.S. Army. Frank served as President of the Eagles #277; Chaplain for American Legion Post 83 and Vice President for Teamsters retirees.
He enjoyed traveling, hunting and golfing. Frank was a Packers, Brewers and Milwaukee Bucks fan. But above all, Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Frank is survived by his children, Joseph Cvetan, Richard (Kristine) Cvetan, Joan (Dan) Goetsch and Steven Cvetan; five grandchildren, Jacob (Rachel) Roelse, Thomas (Kara) Cvetan, Nicholas Roelse, Nathan Cvetan and Mary Cvetan; two great-grandchildren, Jaren Roelse and Ensley Cvetan; one brother Roger Cvetan; special friend Jean Sertich and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Mae Cvetan; parents Anton and Clarissa Cvetan and siblings Cyril Cvetan, Lillian Mathieu, Donald Cvetan, Robert Cvetan and Kenny Cvetan.
A Funeral Mass for Frank will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church, 818 Huron Ave., Sheboygan. The family will greet visitors at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. He will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, Sheboygan.
