Eugene Wieland

Eugene Martin Wieland, 82 of Cleveland Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday September 7th, 2016 at home. He was born May 10th, 1934 to Harvey and Marion (Scheibl) Wieland. Eugene graduated from Howards Grove High School in 1952. In June of 1961 he married Caroline Grupe.
He was a member of St. John St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland Wisconsin. Eugene worked in the Pottery Division at the Kohler Company from 1973 until he retired in 1996. Prior to that he had worked for the Armour Leather Company in Sheboygan and for Millerville Box Company.
Survivors include his daughter, Cheri Nennig (special friend, Greg Schnell) of Cleveland, daughter Kristine (Bob) Mahler of Cleveland, a son Steven (Jeannie Ducher) Wieland of Oxford Ohio; five grandchildren, Ashley and Leah Nennig of Cleveland, Lindsey and Mitchell Mahler of Cleveland, and Alex Wieland-Ducher of Oxford, Ohio; two brothers, Edward (Kathy)Wieland of Sheboygan, and Gerald (Donna) Wieland of Sheboygan Falls; a sister-in-law Sandy Wieland of Plymouth and his special friend, Molly Babek of Sheboygan Falls
In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by an infant son, Dale Wieland, two brothers, Jerome and Ronald Wieland, one sister, Janice Jeske and her husband Jerry Jeske.
A memorial service for Eugene will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at Zimmer's Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove) with the Rev.
