Elizabeth “Betty” L. Boeldt

Elizabeth “Betty” L. Boeldt, 84, of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2024 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Betty was born on November 26, 1939, the daughter of the late Vernon and Myrtle (Carman) Price in Winneconne. She was a 1957 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School.

 

On June 20, 1959, she united in marriage with Herbert Boeldt at the First Methodist Church in Sheboygan. They were united in marriage for 57 years. Betty worked at Wigwam Mills, Grand Executive Inn and Bordens before retiring from Sheboygan Retirement Home in 2001.

 

She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and coloring. She and Herbie also enjoyed hosting Bratwurst Days get-togethers at their home. 

 

Betty is survived by her niece Ginger (Steven) Fleming, sister-in-law Noreen Price and many other nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her dear husband Herbert Boeldt; her parents Vernon and Myrtle Price; two brothers Edward and Vernon Price and three sisters Lucille Raml, Lucille Feldman and Phyllis Schroeder.

 

All services are private. Betty will be laid to rest at Wildwood Cemetery, Sheboygan next to Herbert.
