Derrick Konz

Derrick J. Konz, 40, of Whitelaw, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 25, 2018. Derrick was born December 15, 1977 in Sheboygan to Heidi (Wehmeier) Konz and the late Thomas Konz. He graduated from Howards Grove High School in 1996. On September 17, 1999, he married the former Lisa Reinecke in Sheboygan. Derrick owned and operated D-Rocks Bar and Banquet Hall. He enjoyed spending time with his children and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. Derrick also enjoyed spending his free time working on projects and working in his shop.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by five children, Austin, Katelynn, Karissa, Rachel and Maggie; one granddaughter, Lyliana; one brother, Christopher (Brandee) Konz and his mother-in-law, Cindy Masterson.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Erwin Reinecke.
A funeral service for Derrick will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. at Zimmer's Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove).
