Christian Dean Mueller-Ackley, 27, of Howards Grove, passed away unexpectedly in a car accident on Monday, July 20, 2026.
Christian was born on December 15, 1998, in Sheboygan to Timothy Ackley and Michelle Mueller-Ackley. He graduated from Antigo High School with the Class of 2017 and later attended Fox Valley Technical College, where he studied landscaping. He worked at Johnsonville and took pride in doing his job well.
Anyone who knew Christian knew they could count on him. He had a kind heart, a gentle nature, and was always willing to help someone in need. He never hesitated to stand up for others and was deeply loyal to the people he cared about.
One of the greatest examples of Christian's character was his decision to move to Howards Grove to help care for his grandfather, Donnie. He did it without hesitation because family was always important to him. He showed his love through his actions, quietly giving his time and support whenever it was needed.
Christian had many interests that brought him happiness. Music was a big part of his life, and he recently rediscovered his passion for DJing. He also loved gaming, whether it was racing friends in Mario Kart or enjoying games like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Fallout. Some of his favorite memories were made in Pickerel, where he enjoyed spending time outdoors, sitting around a campfire, and making memories with family and friends.
Christian was someone you could always rely on, someone who made you laugh, and someone who cared deeply about the people he loved. He was a wonderful uncle who adored his nieces and nephews, and they loved spending time with him. His family and friends will remember him for his kindness, his quiet strength, and the way he made people feel welcome.
Christian will be deeply missed by his sisters, Brianne (Isaiah) Noll, Autumn Mueller-Ackley, and Amber (Andy) Olwig; his brother, Stephen Ackley; his nieces and nephews, Pax, Artemis, Kieran, and Charlie Noll, Elsie Johnson, and Ava Ackley; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Timothy Ackley and Michelle Mueller-Ackley; his paternal grandparents, Michael and Norma Ackley; his maternal grandparents, Donald and Sharleen Mueller; and his uncle, Dean Mueller.
A funeral service for Christian will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Zimmer Westview, W2132 Garton Road, Howards Grove. Family and friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Following the service, Christian will be laid to rest during an inurnment ceremony at St. Paul's Cemetery.
Christian's life reminds us that kindness doesn't have to be loud to make a lasting difference. We will miss him every day, and we will always be grateful for the time we had together.
