Bruce K. Borland Sr.

Bruce K. Borland Sr., 62, of Sheboygan passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023, after a courageous battle of cancer at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

He was born in Waupun on February 13, 1961, to Buddy and Joyce (Ruplinger) Borland. He graduated from Granton High School. Bruce proudly served his country in the United States Army and stationed in Germany from 1979 until 1981. Bruce enjoyed traveling.

Bruce is survived by his fiancé, Patricia Gabrish; best friend, Chad Moore; his father, Buddy K. Borland; sons, Bruce and Adam; siblings, Bryant, Bret, and Brenda; grandchildren, Cyric and Teegan; nieces, nephews, other family and friends further survive.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce and his grandparents.

A Celebration of Life for Bruce will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd., in Howards Grove from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery at 3:30 PM. Members from the VFW Post 9156 and the American Legion Post 83 will be presenting military honors.

Memorial donations can be made in Bruce's name to either Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice or the Sheboygan Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic.

Patricia and Chad would like to thank the awesome nurses and Dr. Woody at the Sheboygan Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic for the excellent care given to Bruce. They would also like to thank the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the compassion shown to Bruce. A special thank you to Steve and Annie for taking care of Bruce’s cats, Scrappy and Georgie.
