Arnold C. Nemecek

Arnold “Arnie” C. Nemecek of rural Kiel passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023. He was born August 30, 1945 to Anton and Marie (Schleis) Nemecek.  He graduated from Reedsville High School and furthered his education in LTC. He later served in the US Army.

He worked for Hayssen Manufacturing as a Senior Field Services Technician and them had his own consulting business until retirement.

He traveled extensively throughout the country though his work and was able to gain lifelong friends along the way. His wife Arlene traveled to many countries alongside him.

In 1968 he married Arlene “Berge” and they spent many years together enjoying their home and family.

Arnie enjoyed his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was always fixing things, building homes, and enjoying being surrounded by nature in his own backyard. Arnie made many friends through his adventures.

Arnie is survived by his wife Arlene Nemecek; his brother Tony; his children Marcia (Dan) Scott, Michele (William) Marshall, Steve (Kathy) Nemecek, and Sandy (Ken) Cornell; his grandchildren Deja Shemon, Kayla Sprenger, Maggie Marshall, Nikki Marshall, Evan Nemecek, Patrick Nemecek, Mitchell Nemecek, Brandon Cornell, Alyssa Cornell, And Megan Cornell; great grandchildren Tristan Shemon, Oliver Shemon, Kaden Sprenger, and Arie Sprenger.

Preceding him in death were his parents Anton and Marie, his brother Larry, his sister Rosemary, and his granddaughter Tanya Scott.

No services will be held at Arnie’s request. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend our gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Froedtert Hospital and to the staff at Homestead Health Services, especially Barb, for their care and compassion extended to Arnie.
