Allan R. Krueger

Allan R. Krueger, 89, of Sheboygan, died on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.  He was born June 17, 1933 in Manitowoc, the son of Herbert and Elizabeth Krueger.  Allan graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the Class of 1951.

On June 7, 1958 he was united in marriage to Barbara Loving at Wesley Methodist Church. 

Allan proudly served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955.  After being discharged he worked at the Manitowoc Ship Yards as a shipfitter until 1964.  He left to join the Sheboygan Fire Department where he served his community until his retirement in 1989.  Allan also drove for airport connection for 15 years.

Having a strong faith, Allan was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Sheboygan.  He enjoyed golfing, watching football, and working in yard and on various home projects.

Allan is survived by his wife of 64 years Barbara, sons Anthony Krueger, Thomas (Tari Reinke) Krueger, and David (Donna) Krueger, three grandchildren Alexandria, Ashley, and Michael, sister Carol Resch, brother Jerry (Wendy) Krueger, brother-in-law Ernest Loving, and sister-in-law Mary Loving.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Allan was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws Viola and Ernest Loving, brothers-in-law Jack Resch and Dan Carson, and sister-in-law Germaine Loving.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 5:00 PM at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd. Sheboygan, with Pastor Cindy Thompson officiating.  Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 3:30 PM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
