Alice "Mickey" M. Glander

Alice “Mickey” M. Glander, age 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2022, at Aurora Medical Center.

She was born on March 3, 1937, to the late Arno and Gladys (Wilke) Plautz.  On September 23, 1953, Alice married Willard Glander.  After 43 years, Willard preceded her in death on December 6, 1997.  She was a very active member of Saron UCC in Sheboygan Falls.

Alice enjoyed crafting, playing bingo, going to eat, and socializing with her neighbors, no matter where she resided at the time.  She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Ray (Judy) Glander, Sandra (Larry) Lenz, LaVonne Taddy; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother Jr. TeStroete; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Along with her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by an infant son, Roy; a sister Shirley Aurich and a son-in-law Robert Taddy.

A Funeral Service for Alice will take place at 4:00 PM on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Saron UCC, W3830 Cty Rd J in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. RaeAnn Beebe officiating.  Family will greet visitors at church on Friday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.  A private burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Random Lake.  Alice’s service will be livestreamed and available to view on her obituary page at www.zimmerfuneralhome.com

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Alice’s name.

Alice’s family would like to thank the staff at both Sheboygan Senior Community and Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center for the care and support given to Alice.
