The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our
customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral
arrangement you select will include a charge for our basic services
and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any
items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason
in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods
and services you selected.
BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF $ 2750.00
Our fee for the basic services of funeral director
and staff includes, but is not limited to twenty four hour availability
of licensed director, consultation with family or responsible parties
to receive directions for arrangement of funeral ceremonies; preparation
and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital
statistics; preparation and listing of obituary notices; shelter
of remains, Federal, State and Local government regulation compliance
(i.e. OHSA, ADA, EPA, DNR) and coordination with those providing
other portions of the funeral (i.e. cemetery, crematory , vault company
and others as required). Also included in this charge are overhead
expenses relative to our facilities such as professional licensing,
legal and accounting fees, insurance, building and utility expenses,
parking lot and grounds maintenance, taxes, equipment, furnishings,
inventory costs, record keeping secretarial and administrative expenses.
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the
total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already
included in our package selections, direct cremations, immediate burials,
and forwarding or receiving of remains.)
EMBALMING $ 675.00
Except in certain special cases, embalming
is not required by law. If you select a funeral with public viewing,
it is the funeral home policy to require embalming. If you do not
want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement
which does not require it, such as immediate burial or direct cremation.
