Visitation and Funeral Mass for Ann Meyer
Time: 10:00am - 11:00am Central
Location: Immaculate Conception Catholic Church
Ann M. Meyer passed away on Saturday May 17, 2008 at Sunny Ridge Health Care Center where she had been a resident for the last 4 years. She was born in Sheboygan, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Bubinus) Yochis. Ann graduated from Holy Name Grade School and the Sheboygan Vocational School.
On September 4, 1943, Ann Yochis was united in marriage to Albert F. Meyer. Together the couple built their family home on Grams Court in 1952. Albert preceded her in death on March 17, 1968.
Ann was a life long member of Immaculate Conception Parish. She was very active in the church. In her 50's, she took courses in braiding and hooking rugs and upholstery from the Sheboygan Vocational School. She loved to baby-sit, and provided this service well into her late 70's. Her other great joys in life were her family, relatives, friends and gardening.
Ann is survived by a son, James (Caroline) Meyer of Chicago, along with other relatives and many friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, John J. Meyer, who passed away in June of 2000; four sisters, Mary Aldakauskas, Betty Mersberger, Rickey Simenz and Maggie Peterman; one brother, Pete Yochis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Reverend Glenn Powers, pastor, will be celebrant. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for relatives and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Wednesday.

The Meyer family wishes to thank the Staffs of Sunny Ridge Healthcare Center, St. Nicholas Hospital Home Hospice, and Dr. Vytas Kerpe and his nurse for the loving care Ann received over the last years. The Zimmer Funeral Home of Sheboygan is assisting the Meyer Family.
