Julia C. Moritz, 93, passed away Tuesday, March 09, 2010, at Pine Haven Christian Home where she had been a resident.

Julia was born June 15, 1916 in Sheboygan to the late John and Josephine (Grabner) Cesar. She attended local Schools. On September 28, 1946 she married Fredrick Moritz, he preceded her in death January 29, 2005.

She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Parish for many years.

Julia was employed by Wigwam Mills. She loved to spoil her grandchildren. She also enjoyed golf, camping and fishing.


She is survived by her three grandchildren, Frederick Moritz of Sheboygan, Dawn Mattson-Moritz of Fond du Lac, and Jason (Monica) Moritz of Sheboygan. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Darian and Logan Moritz, Connor Henning and Preston Moritz, Carson Mattson, and Evan and Kieran Moritz. She is further survived by her daughter-in-law Marlene Moritz. She was preceded in death by her son Frederick, and brothers and sisters.

Private family graveside services have taken place at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.

Memorials may be given directly to the donor’s choice of the following. Holy Family School, Christ Child Academy, or St. Dominic’s School.
